Steel pipes are steel products with a hollow section whose length is much greater than its diameter or circumference. According to the cross-sectional shape, it is divided into round, square, rectangular and special-shaped steel pipes; according to the production process, it is divided into seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe. Among them, seamless steel pipes are divided into two types: hot-rolled and cold-rolled (drawn), and welded steel pipes are divided into straight seam welded steel pipes and spiral seam welded steel pipes.

Cold-drawn steel pipe is a type of steel pipe, that is, it is classified according to different production processes, which is different from hot-rolled (expanded) pipe. It is made through multiple passes of cold drawing during the diameter expansion process of the raw tube blank or raw material tube, usually on a 0.5 to 100T single-chain or double-chain cold drawing machine.
